Supermicro X11 UP Serverboard and Server upgrade technologies provide significant performance and efficiency improvements over previous product generations, including support for the latest Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v6 product family that provides 2 higher frequency bins;

DDR4 up to 2400MHz memory implementation that delivers a 13% performance improvement over DDR4-2133MHz memory;

all PCI-E 3.0 implementation that achieves a PCI-E 3.0 8Gbps bus speed or a 60% performance enhancement over 5Gbps PCI-E 2.0;

and all SATA 3.0 implementation bringing a 6Gbps storage data rate or a 100% performance increase from the 3Gbps of SATA 2.0.

In addition memory capacity of 64GB ECC DDR4 up to 2400MHz memory is supported.

Supermicro X11 UP Serverboards and Servers are targeted for a wide variety of customer applications including Entry Appliance, Cloud Computing and Web Hosting, Network-Centric, Entry-Level Caching Appliance, Entry-Level Storage, and Flexible I/O.

They are complemented by Supermicro Server Management Utilities that offer a comprehensive solution to manage and maintain Supermicro servers in an IT datacenter from a single console view; and also Supermicro Onsite Service and Support that provides flexible and customizable Service Level Agreements for remote help desk and rapid onsite support to cover Supermicro hardware solutions.
