The Supermicro MicroCloud modular server architecture provides the high density, performance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness required for today’s demanding server deployments. The 24/12/8 modular server nodes are conveniently integrated into a compact 3U chassis, saving over 76% of rack space when compared to traditional 1U servers. Each MicroCloud node can provide up to 512GB ECC DDR4 memory, one PCI-E 3.0 x8 LP slot, options for NVMe, 3.5”, or 2.5” drives support. The MicroCloud system utilizes redundant digital power supplies of up to 96% efficiency (Titanium level) and sophisticated cooling zone controls for a Green energy profile. Each node is powered by the latest Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v5 (up to 80W) or Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600/1600 v4/v3 (up to 145W) or Intel® Xeon® processor D (45W) product families.
